Just one image from our brilliant Mentoring Training on July 14, at the Environment Centre in Swansea. 14 women spend a day learning about the mentoring relationship, good structures in mentoring, and how to find a mentor/mentee. We also had a chance to do some reflecting on our current practices, for those of us already involved with mentoring. A really worthwhile day.

Rhianne and I have been working very hard on getting the new website for Women4Resources finished. On Thursday last week we spent 5 hours in the Square Peg coffee house in Sketty.  I had two coffees and two cakes ( delicious, particularly the peanut and date bar) to make up for occupying a table for that long. Rhianne again did a fantastic training session with me, being very patient and explaining everything as often as I needed it. I stayed on and practiced what I had learned which was great. I also took very detailed notes; after the last training session my notes were really bad with the result that I couldn’t even log in to write a blog or do any work on the site. This time all went well and there is no excuse now not to share all our news.
